Haiku-A-Day #563

When the silence falls

The great clock has struck midnight

Out with a whimper

About corkedbottle

Hello hello. I'm a guy that likes to write and is really good at not writing. I've never thought of myself as a good writer, but it's fun, and I'll never get better if I don't write more!

‘The great clock’ could mean so many different things. I’m already thinking I hope my great clock doesn’t strike midnight with a whimper. Although going out with a gong doesn’t sound too appealing, either.

What do you think?
